I would like to see Starships get expansions based on BE expansions. For instance, introduce a Starships expansion with rising tide's new leaders and hybrid affinities. Anyone know if Firaxis has commented at all on expanding Starships alongside BE?

Haven't heard anything, but it is virtually certain.
You could tell just by looking at the starships game set up screen there were places for 4 more leaders. A clue about how many leaders a BE expansion would have...
That being said, I doubt it will get much more than the leaders and tweaked hybrid bonuses.
