The Question is:settle on cows for WTH Uber City?Its a waste, but i cant get a good 2nd city if i settle on the hill ...

then probably 1S, and settle next turn. (have fish marble gold... and who knows what else.)

your second city can have all of those at the north.

Other option can think of , is 1 N, still take 2 turns to settle..... so go 1SW to check is just the move I will do.

If you move anywhere you lose at least two seafood resources (or one seafood resource and the gold by moving directly north). I think you have to just go ahead and settle on the cows - it's unlikely you'll find anything further south that would justify losing two seafood resources.

perhaps settle on marble and place second city NE from silk

I'd settle on the marble and then settle another city on the silk to get the other seafood. You'll have two massively great cities that can share the cow for rapid development early/mid game and use more specialists to minimise overlap between the two as they grow, plus extra whipping. No way I'd waste that cow or any of the fish.

I'd settle on the spot, but I'm a sucker for supercities.

Settling on the marble gives you potentially lots of ocean squares.

a quick update(no screenshots, sry ):

Game was Emporer, i moved the settler 1 N and settled on the hill.just 2 s of the gold there was another gold and 1 more fish, so that was my second city.

Well, i Build:ToA, Great Lighthouse, GL and Colossus, no Early war(except defense wars against kyrus and toku).At 1300 Ad i got 520 Science in City +1 and like 260 in city 2 !! Just sick. After Chemestiry etc City1 went down to 390
