John VII, the last Emperor of the Wars Dynasty, had died without a son or daughter. In his last will, however, he had already appointed someone to be his successor: Thomas Jagiello, of the Jagiello Dynasty from Lublin. This was the end of an era and the beginning of a new one for the Polish Imperium. He was crowned in front of the Warsaw Grand Palace - the palace of the imperial family of Poland. The Jagiello family was only the second imperial family to occupy the Grand Palace. Lord Thomas of Lublin was now Emperor Thomas I of the Polish Imperium.
This new emperor was quite militaristic and he trained in the Wars Imperial Military Academy in Warsaw. His family was very close to the Wars dynasty, and his uncle was a military advisor to Emperor John VII. This automatically gained him the approval of the nobility. Some attempted to use the new Emperor as a means of getting some personal pwoer and privileges. However, Thomas did not bend to the aristocratic will - in fact, he had himself lopped off the head of the Grand Duke of Moscow because he got reports that the Grand Duke was plotting an aristocratic uprising against the Emperor to gain power. This convinced many other aristocrats to avoid seeking personal powers and personal privileges.
Emperor Thomas I came to power at not a very good time. A famine had broken out in the southern states, and something had to be done. The breadbasket of the Polish Imperium was not only Ukraine, but also the vast plains of central Poland, and the areas and lakes all over Mazury and Mazowsze. There were abundances of food over there and some people even complained that their surplus of food was going to waste!
Food convoys would be sent immediately to the ravaged areas. Their loads would include: live chickens so that 1)they could gobble up the locusts and get fat and 2) once the locusts are all dead, then the farmers and people eat the chickens; vegetables, meats so that people and farmers could automatically eat them; fresh water from the vast lakes so that people could drink and wouldn't be parched and dry-mouthed, dry-throated no more. Send a lot of these food convoys to the southern areas that are suffering.
Emperor Thomas had also created a new "army" of special elite forces - the Jagiellonian Guards.
New UU for Poland: Jagiellonian Guards.
The Jagiellonian Guards are the defenders and protectors of not only the Imperial Dynasty, but also of the Polish Imperium borders and the people that live within the Imperium. They are not good at offensive wars AT ALL, but they can defend like crazy. The Guards use their defensive and protective skill to prevent any and all foreign invasions and to stop robbers and bandits from attacking the citizens.

Let us form an MPP/full alliance with each other - the Grand Eastern European Alliance to better defend our interests against others.
To France:
If you agree to a DPP with us, then we will definitely impose this new religion of Christianity upon the entire Imperium. Already part of the aristocracy and the imperial family are converted or considering it, but it is not definite. If you sign the DPP with us, then we will get the entire Imperium to become Christian.

The first, Greece inherits Macedonia. Eager to gain land and status in the growing European community, they have bought German Macedonia for 2 economy levels. But, as with what happened to Germany, the poor and backwardness of this region has hurt Greece's economy. Luckily, Polish aid has helped the situation.
Second, France's revoking of the royal union with the Netherlands. Furious from this action, the Dutch have imprisoned all French Christians in thier country and have begun a wall to seperate themselves from the "pagans".
Third, Poland has invaded Germany! This coincides with the disbandenment of half the German military by Germany, and the selling of Macedonia to Greece and mixes for a horrible German defeat. The entire Polish Army has crossed into Germany, quickly stunning and subduing the entire military! The only thing keeping Germany alive is the extreme wealth of the nation, which the people dont want to give up to Polish overlords.
Activating thier MPP with Germany, Denmark & the Dutch ships have attacked the Polish fleet. So far, the DD fleet has burned 1 major port (Danzig) but not too a major enough degree. The battle for the Baltic Sea is fastly becoming the largest naval battle in history.
Christianity has spread to Sicily, Southern Britain, and Northern Spain. Some of these new converts have had unwanted clashes with the conventional religions of the region.
In Ethiopia, an invasion has been so-so in its success. As reinforcements came from the Seychelles, the Phoenician-Sicilian armies were forced into tough mountains in and around Eritrea. Another attack was less successful, being stopped in the hot tropical jungles.
Sicily easily occupied the Seychelles after it was evacuated by Ethiopia.
In Oman, the second Assyrian invasion has occurred. In Omanese-held Mongolia, Phoenician forces swept through easily taking the land back. Oman, seeing the futility, managed to retreat half the troops to attack Northern Assyria.
In Arabia, a full attack into Oman's main territory has been rewarded with victory after victory. Once again, it seems the Omanese are being pushed into the sea.
The Oman navy has been utterly destroyed off the cost of Phoenicia in the Red Sea, due to a huge attack from Greek and Phoenician navies.
In mainland Assyria, the millenium's old capital is under siege!! After quickly engulfing the token guard being stationed on the border, Oman with the help of Mughal armies has been able to advance greatly into Assyria.
Those Mughal armies are free due to a peace signed between the Mughal Empire and China. China signed off several chunks of land, seeing that its armies were down by 2,000 in number compared to the Mughals.
A horrible war of disease, attrition, and all kinds of horrors is happening in South East Asia. The Siamese attempts to keep Perthian troops has failed, and the two fleets are engaging between Sumatra, Borneo, and Singapore. The invasion, though, was slighlty more successful as a dangerous diseas spreads through the barracks of Perthian battalions. Over 500 have died from the disease alone. The Perthians are fortifying Singapore though, and its expected to be a large-scale battle for the island.
The War for Georgian Revival was very short as not even one shot was fired. The Mongols agreed to peace, giving Yalta ll of thier Black Sea coastline.
California has resigned as a nation, giving itself to the Mayas. But a clan, long in hiding after thier take over in Seattle, has reinstalled a new governement, taking half of California and thier military with them.
New Inuitia is no more as the last of the rebels are cleaned out, but the problem remains. Who will get what land?
Uzbekia makes more small advances on Mongolia, due to no central leadership among the Mongol Armies.
Many trade routes have been cut due to war.
