I can't believe I used up my new member first post on this...

To be fair, they co-leads did admit several times they were not bold enough and acknowledged the more common criticisms. So perhaps you're right.

Unfortunately they aren't releasing patches that really fix the biggest issues. But Firaxis managed to salvage Civ V, so there's hope.

That just leaning on the fourth wall. If I want to break the fourth wall I would continue with

"Eight month passed, and our hope is barely live as our earth is. until now.... Hopefully."

BTW, will we got two or four faction? or they're trying to say we got four seeding faction stem from two new faction on Earth lore-wise?

I would guess that there's a mistake on the steam page and there's supposed to be the four new sponsors, not two. Unless they've decided to add earth-based factions of some sort, as you supposed.

Anybody else looking forward to hearing more about the new sponsors? The original eight were interesting enough lore-wise, but seeing the same faces every game got pretty boring, and it's always good to hear more about what became of Earth.
