Not working. As you can see, my internet is up and running fine. Firewall is adjusted. I just used ESO (Ensamble Studios Online) and it worked fine. Is there maitnance or something? It said it was fine, so...

Any help?

Steam is a pile of complete , and making it compulsory is a massive mistake that may lead me to not buy Civ5.

Sorry. I guess the run as admin trick should be first on procedures. For now, it's working.

Yeah I dunno why you wouldn't be running it in admin mode. STEAM is generally pretty good, it does break but rarely, and (due to a huge userbase and a zillion configurations, and sometimes general user stupidity) it can break badly for people.

I've never really had a problem.

Steam is like marmite - You either love it or hate it (I dont mind marmite). For me, Steam is terrible.

I like using steam. It automatically updates your games and you have as many installs as possible.
