Did anyone else here get Megacorp ?
I'd rate it better than Apocalypse and not even close to Utopia.
Pretty cool additions but no real gamechangers. Megacorp governments are a bit too similar to standard Oligarchies. Crime Sindycates can be OP. The crime increase from their branch offices is insane and you can only get rid of them if you win a war, which is incredibly frustrating if your fleet can't reach their territory because of a hostile buffer empire that won't open borders.

My favorite new thing are city planets. They require a huge investment but will pretty much solve all your alloy and consumer goods problems as long as you have enough rural worlds to supply them with minerals and food.

Go to Paradox's own store at their website, rather than the Steam storefront.

Well the Vivisandian Cultivators are currently snipping and strimming their way to galactic dominance. Guess thats what happens when a plantoid race lets a bunch of robots take over.

Just had the Baol as precursors in my first game with Ancient Relics. I found the conclusion a bit disappointing because
    Spoiler :
there were some aliens who wiped them out just because. No motive, no reason, no info about the killers.
    Wasted potential.

At least the relic you get is very good.
Extremely good. Possibly OP, but maybe the other precursor relics are also "OP" which would make it more "balanced".

Haven't played it since MegaCorp. Heard that update made the game significantly more laggy and borked game balance, so I figured I'd give it a while to settle down and smooth things out... then never got back to it.

It's a concept I wish I could enjoy but the game kinda sucks

It maybe fixed a bit but it was always like you started next to xenophobic warmongerers in my experience

I have 158 hours in Stellaris and i have still yet to finish a game

Not played in ages. I might get the itch again at some point. But id be more interested in playing Crusader Kings i think than Stellaris.

I have just clocked 2,700 hours.

It's become much harder to complete games now. Victory is based purely on score now.

I enjoy the various dynamics of the game, but it becomes very laggy but late game despite recent supposed performance improvements.
