CARTHAGE:
The temple of arizaba was alomst complete, everyone prepared to celebrate its completion! the govt strted to distribute food around the city for a great party! but not everyone was celebrating, some were working hard on the wonder, while the settlers loaded the small navy fleet to start expanding on the island of sicily.
meanwhile other settlers moved on the east along the coast.

The Sultan was pleased that his economy was growing so well, and even more pleased that he and the nation had extra riches. While he used up alot of the funds for his own luxuries, there was still enough to buy something that would get the country more land. He theorized that if he had a bigger army, then he could gain land faster and become more powerful.

The Emporer was most displeased of the barbarian threat to the north. However he had not built this army for nothing. It was time to show the barbarians of the world not to mess with the Roman Empire.

the king was unhappy. These ... THESE SCOTS! he scoffed at the name as if a trivial matter. However they were not trivial as he well knew to his displeasure. Expansion to the north had been slowed by the Scots and their Welsh settlements.

4th UPDATE (3700 BC)
While expanding to nearby islands, the people of Borneo have found a metal new to them and are now in copper age with America and Cuba. Their expansion has also gotten a boost because of this.
America and Cuba are also growing rapidly with their copper technology, and have even gained contact with each other.
New barbarian tribes are occuring in the Americas and Africa. More specifically, Nubia has expanded fast through the nile river but are now stumbling in the north because of Egyptian barbarians. In north America, there are Sioux-indians forming up small barbarian tribes. These tribes do not want war, they just want to live in their lands and they fear American expansion.
The Inuits, having heard rumours of new civilizations spreading and expanding, have created their own militaristic nation in northern Labrador.
Amazon is being surrounded by barbarians. These barbarians are not, however, hostile and they have agreed to keep peace with Amazon as long as Amazon doesn't expand anymore. Amazon has agreed to this and their borders are now closed for good.
In Europe, expansion has slowed down rapidly because of barbarians. Suomi has kicked the crap out of the Tampere tribe but there are still some barbarians in Kuusamo, and Suomi has also expanded a bit into Estonian territory. Estonians are, however, fighting very hard. England got out a bit easier, as the dying Scots decided to join England rather than get destroyed.
Rome is also fighting hard in northern Italy and are finaly starting to get the upper hand out of Alpic barbarians.
Both Rome and Carthage expanded into Cicily basically at the same time. East cicily us now under Roman control while Carthage has the west. There has not, however, been a clear borderline between these areas, as the local people are rebelling against both occupyers, making things pretty chaotic.
There are rumours of great masses of Barbarians fleeing from battlefields to central Europe. Perhaps they are hoping to unite against all oppressors and create their own nation...?
Seychelles did the greatest sea trip ever as their little wooden boats sailed all the way to northern Madagaskar. They also tried to settle southern India, but the boats that went on that trip never returned. What happened to them, nobody knows.
Korea got a pretty annoyed message from China and got scared and decided to close it's borders from further expansion in mainland Asia, however they continue to settle southern Japan.
In middle east, Persia is expanding rapidly due to their use of horses and expansionist people who are most willing to move around and see new lands. As a result, the economy of Persia is been boosted as new city states do more and more commerce.

The war against the barbarians was going well. The people of Rome were prospering. Rome was a growing nation. However, contact with the English and Carthaginians had shown the Romans that they were not alone in the world. So the Romans began building their army to fight the barbarian threat and to protect themselves from future threats as well.
