Most people would willingly give up a life of being able to purchase what they want, live how they want, do what they want, and be different from everyone else in terms of how "successful" they are for a life of having to live life only as good as how much everyone else puts into the working effort? I don't personally like to rely on others for supporting me in life because for the most part humans are unpredictable and unreliable.
