Well, I actually meant the atomic theory and well, the point of this game is to make a story, so why not?

Atomic theory developed around the early RL 19th century.

Actually Plexus is right. I have a number of nations who have been researching it for at least 10 or 20 turns, and they aren't getting it for a while. I don't care how long they have been researching it, its not time yet.

The Premier of the People's Republic set forth with the view that the People's Republic once again needed to show to the world that it followed the concerns of its people

He se forth a new constiution to replace that of the 1843 constiution of Revolution. With the revolution complete it was time to begin the formation of a real democratic-socialist nation.

The first step was the renaming of the offical name of the Republic. It was renamed tjhe Democratic People's Republic of Egypt. Second was the lifitng of the Revolutionary decree once again allowing new parties to come to the fore.

1852 Constituion of the Democratic Republic of Egypt

Article 1

All citizens above the age of 16 without prior criminal recordings can vote. Voting is compolsory for those enrolled to do so, enrollment is not compolsory but cannot be rescinded.

Article 2

The people have the right to free speach, freedom of association, freedom of relgion and freedom to own personal private property, and trial by jury.

Article 3

All political parties must be approved by first the Electroal Commission and then the Congress and Senate.

Article 4

Every four years elections will be held in all provinces for the title of Premier of the Republic. Every two years half the senate and the congress will also be held.

Article 5

This constiution can be suspended in times of war allowing the Premier and his War Cabinet to take dictatorial powers for the duration of the war.

Artcile 6

The Supreme People's Court can disallow any law made that is against this constiution.

Article 7

All buisness is owned by the state.

Article 8

The government is offically Athesit and believes in the equality of all people under Gunasist theories.

So far there have been a numbr of parties who have tipped that they will put forward for the first elections of Egypt since 1840. These elections will be held in 1853 and the Premier Rameses Murias has asked the Imperial Republic of China and the Greater Republic of Sinhala to supervise the voting.

Th parties being set up are

- The Egyptian Socialist Party

Favoured party as it has let the EGyptian state grow strong since the 1843 revolutions.

-The Egyptian Nationalist Party

- This is as far right as the Egyptian Congress will allow. The Egyptian people still being very leftist, this militaristic party is not expected muxh succress

- The Egyptian Green Party

This party support a more sustaniable future. However the Egyptian people are not too intrested in this.

- The Egyptian Democractic Party

This party supports the moves made by the Egyptian Socialist Party towards Democracy the ultimate aim of Nubriyah Gunas. While there are leftists they also support free speach

- The Egyptian Trading Party

A very small outfit not likely to gain much support. It calls for the ending of public ownership of buisness.
