Update Ninety 1861ad.
Huge purging of government and military officials occurs in Pacifica. Huge amounts of soldiers become disheartened with the loss of their generals whom they have come to love so much for the past couple years. Some were left even from the great Pacifican War. Many Japanese are discontent, and large rallies against the Pacifican occupation spreads through the islands. Nearly half a million soldiers desert their positions, but in return, the mainland Pacifica, mostly Korea, is as united as before the Pacifican War.
In darkness they ride. Some on horses, others on confiscated military trucks, and even a few tanks. They reach the canal. Under the cover of darkness and Egyptian uniforms, they set the charges. Returning to their rides, they are gone, into the wind. An hour later the canal erupts into a fireball as the charges are set off. A section, nearly a quarter of a mile wide of the Suez Canal is destroyed, losses value up to $500 million, seventy people die, and hundreds are injured.
The Madagascan troops continue to be trained in a manner that rivals that of even the Danish troops. However, the army is still in the stage of training, and has not yet been completed. Meanwhile, in Antananarivo the black and white film is complete, and the first movie is a soundless movie about the Egyptian civil war.
A new Zionist movement takes hold in Israel as Jews from all around the world flock to the holy land. They call for the creation of a new state, free from all bonds from any nation. Mass rallies in Jerusalem and Haifa take place, in Haifa ship production is put to a halt as the Jews march upon the port.
While rebellion in the Egyptian west dies down as socialist reforms take place in the economy, the southern rebellion wages on, strong as ever. Armies have been formed, and they have ceased military facilities as well as factories into making weapons of war. Egyptian and Ozeanian troops begin to show up in the towns and districts of the rebellion, witnessing the religion that the ancient Egyptians practiced being practiced by the southerners. Despite military occupation and some times a break out in violence, the rebellion spreads.
Conscript troops in the USSA are relieved of duty, greatly raising the moral of the country, and so the people spend more, improving the economy.
A monument to Danish Catholicism, the St. Peters Cathedral is complete in Copenhagen and adds a hint of culture to the thriving modern metropolis. It adds an identity to the people of Denmark.
Sahara declares war on Morocco, thus starting the first Saharan-Moroccan war! While the tables are almost completely tipped in favor of the Moroccans, the Saharans have Egyptian-educated tacticians and generals who are able to maneuver around the strong Moroccan and Spanish forces to take land along the Atlantic Coast. Four hundred Saharans die in this initial attack, and two hundred Spanish and Moroccan.
Thanks to Russian medical advances, the Chinese are able hospitalize and isolate the victims of the Pan Pacifican flue in Pacifica and China, practically wiping out the disease.
The Canadian civil war continues, with the Pro-British east making gains on the west, with nearly a half a million casualties so far, combined.
