StKNES5: A New Lease on NES

From Byzantium
To Eire:
Those Dalmatians have been taken care of. And those who started to rebel against our just cause will be taken care of too very soon. Justice - one, criminals - zero. :)

To Austria, Silesia, Slovakia
From Israel
The Wise King, in all his wisdom, relizes that you are not nations that can be fooled into believing what you want us to believe. We took Dubruvnik because we needed a trade post in the Adriatic, simple as that, almost. We also took the city for we believed that, should Dubruvnik fall, the best hopes for its civilians' well being would be for them to live under the holy law of the Torah. We believe that the best way for you to understand this, as well as our position, would be for you to allow the passage of our Kohanes in your land so that you and your people may be enlightened unto the Law. L'Chaim! L'Shalom! L'Yisroel! L'Slavo-Germania!

To Rome
From Israel
The king and Knesset of the nation of Israel are greatly pleased to see that you have withdrawn your troops from Austria, thus making the situation much less volitile. The wisdom of the Wise King holds that you should abide by the demands of Austria and build your fortresses, watchtowers, and such along the borders but within your own territory. L'Chaim! L'Shalom! L'Yisroel! L'Roma!

All formality has been set aside. We are quite peeved that you continue your bickering and disregard with the Slavo-Germanic countries. By no means do we mean this to be a retraction of our diplomatic negotiations or positions, only that we believe that whould you take a more diplomatic approach, it would be much appreaciated by the Slavo-Germanics.

I am editing my orders to fit what has happened in diplomacy since I made them.

Their wiseness has truly disappeared, if it has ever existed, for they keep insulting the one thing we find (like any nation would) most precious to us; the legitimacy of our actions. They talk as if they were our enemies, which I didn't imagine them to be until now, and because of this I have responded to them as I would have done to enemies.

But your wise advice has not been ignored, for you are right; it is time to put an end to those useless arguments.

Sheba, the former queen of an Arab nation, arrived in Jerusalem. Though her lands were now ruled by the Yemenites, she was still quite wealthy with much influence in both Ethiopia and Yemen. She had come to Solomon's court, with her own court, large enough to shame many a king, for she had heard of the wisdom of Solomon. After arriving in the palace a long dance of courtchip ensude. This all culminated in an attempt by Sheba to trick the Wise King, and to see if the legends were correct. She had her servants make a field of flowers from fine silk that she had come into posession of, being that she had courtesians who knew the black markets that stretched all the way to the rice kingdoms. This literal field of fake flowers was lade out in the great entrance to the palace of Solomon. In this bouque of bouqes she stuck one real flower that appeared exactly the same as the fake ones, the craftsmanship of the fake ones being so good. She invited the Wise King into the grand hall and asked him to pick out the real flower that was hidden there. The king, upon hearing this, began to walk through this new meadow pearing occasionally into one flower or another. While he was walking a bee flew by. Sheba thought nothing of it, but King Solomon seemed intent to see where it was headed. He followed the bee until it landed on one of the flowers. Solomon then picked up the flower, which was indeed the real one, and presented it to Sheba saying, "Here is the flower which you have asked me to find. But do not thank me for finding it, thank the bee. I only had the wisdom to follow him."

From Austria, Slovakia, and Silesia
To Israel:
At least you're actually honest about your intentions, so while we still are not too happy with you, we respect you for admitting and we recognize your legitimacy.
To Byzantium:
Too bad you don't follow your ally's example and admit your true intention behind your action. Maybe if you had done so at the beginning, there would be no animosity at all and no need for such bickering.

Even the wisest of men can make mistakes. King Solomon has noticed that he has made the mistake of not contacting you in so many a long year. as such, we wish to make an offer to you. Your neighbors in Selisia, Slovakia, and Austria are already allowing th Kohanes to teach there people about our beliefs. We ask that you allow us to send Kohanes to your lands so that you and your people may better understand our culture and our to nations may grow closer. L'Chaim! L'Shalom! L'Yisroel! L'Brandenburg!

To Rome and Byzantium
From Israel
King Solomon, lord of the Promised Land, has noticed a problem in our contacts. Though our nations grow closer and closer, our people, and indeed each other, still no little anout one another. As such, I propose that your two great nations, nations that cause even Dan to bend a knee, allow the Levites to preach in your lands (OOC: Dan, if I am correct, was Israel's warrior tribe, the Levites were the tribe chosen to be the priests, or Kohanes). I you and your peoples were to understand our country and culture, then our relations coudl be so much better and our alliance so much stronger. L'Chaim! L'Shalom! L'Yisroel! L'Yerushalayim!

From Brandenburg
To Israel:
We want to have friendly relations with you but don't share our neighbors' views that missionary work is necessary for a friendship to begin and build. At the moment, we respectfully decline the offer of Kohane work on our lands.
How about a NAP to start us off?

BRANDENBURG JOINS SLAVO-GERMANIC PACT.
