The Assyrians force their way down the Tigris River battling the Assurians (lol

), who make clever use of hit-and-run tactics. The Assyrians are able to push somewhat into Assurian territory, but the elusive warriors have taken a toll of 15 men on the Assyrians.
The Scots, while expanding down towards the south of their island, have encountered a fierce tribe, named the Welsh. They have skirmished, but no casualties have occurred.
As the Medians expand south, not only do they encounter and kill some Assurians, Median warriors meet the advance elements of the Assyrian force.
Aztecs are able to expand out to the coast, but are having a hard time expand south into the mountains.
The Chinese come into contact with a group of barbarians calling themselves the Koreans. They are peaceful, but have a fairly large army. The Chinese are able to finish construction of their marketplaces and that along with the additional farming capacity allows the Chinese economy to expand.
The Byzantines are able to amass fairly large amount of territory in Anatolia but a tribe called the Bulgars smashes them as they try to expand after crossing the Sea of Marmara.
The Minions are able to expand easily both along the Nile and into the Sinai.
The Indusians are able to expand down the Ganges, however, to the west, a new tribe called the Mauryans appear, making friendly contact with Indus.
The Romans are held back from expanding greatly because they are unsure about what to do about the Etruscans, a powerful tribe in eastern Italy.
The South Africans are held from expanding very far east because of the extremely powerful Zulu tribe guarding that region.
The United States and Russia suffer from a lack of leadership.

The previously hidden Circle of Bards is fully revealed, causing many more workers to flock to it's construction (5 turns).
The Ishtar Gate is started in Tehran, and many come to lay the bricks needed to complete this wonder (5 turns).
Ports of Byzatine are started in Byzantium, as beaches are smoothed out to allow canoes and rafts place to land (4 turns).
The Ganges Shrine is started in the Indus Valley, and many people come to worship. (3 turns)
The Great Roman Marketplace is started in Rome, it will seriously help the Roman economy (5 turns).
