Stoopid Question... how do I cast worldspells?

Playing as Grigori.... 500 turns in.... completely teched out....

Just realized I haven't seen a way to cast Ardor....

What am I missing?

World Spells are now City Spells.

Basically: Select a city. Spells will be to the right of the unit and building lists.

All Ardor requires is that you've created at least 1 specialist.

Maybe the Amurite worldspell is active?

Or maybe you have a hidden option enabled? Seems like a common problem... if you played RifE after playing another mod (even non-FfH), you have to start a Play Now game to clear the options and then you can run a Custom Game. Has to do with the braindead way that Civ IV stores and loads options between mods.

Im having this issue as well.... no world spells available even when the reqs are met.

I'm thinking that may be it.... I forgot to Play Now! when I installed Rife.... I wanna finish this game first.... it's obviously all over but the shouting.... though I can't win a Conquest victory.... it'll have to be Domination.

The stupid Frozen are all standing on a mountaintop.... military units, workers, and settlers.... been standing there for hundreds of turns.... so I'm not wasting time trying to find a way to get up there and kill them...

I love the crazy like that... makes me laugh.

I'll let ya know if the Play Now works...

There is a hidden option that turns off worldspells, yes. Used for scenarios in FfH, probably will be used for future scenarios in RifE.

It's been discussed before and I've never once confirmed that we would do it. It's very much an "If we have time" thing.

All I meant was that the option would likely be needed if we decided to do it.
