Will they just drop it?

I find the message to say that they've declared war on you fairly pointless, as all you do is press the button to say goodbye anyways.

1. allows the AI to see what you have
2. allows the AI to contact othe civs that may be block by your territory
When I play as an isolationist I seem to do much better because the AI doesn't attack as soon and they also fall way behind in research, culture, and growth.

I will have to try playing a game from the start with the mind set of an Isolationist and see how it plays out, never tired it. By the way what leader do you normally play this method with and do you think it matters?

I hate that too. My earlier thread on the topic can be found here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=143834Kieran said:I'm playing a game as an isolationist keeping all my borders closed.
