Storm Series Team looking for testers for SOE

Recon1591, at Evo-games I am known by late sister's name CALINDA. Also, I want to thank the SOE team for taking my bid seriously considering that I'm a female. I know that war and its related topics are usually masculine dominated so it's nice to be considered a worthy tester. I've considered starting a POLL so as to determine the amount of females playing CIV to see if we (only the females) could come together to create a Mod/Scenario as grand in scale as the Storm Series, The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire, Rise and Rule, and lots of others. Your mods are truly motivating. Thanks again SOE team for the votes. ;)

It was the fact that you were a woman that swayed my vote to the positive for you I felt you would bring a unique persepctive to the testing.
 
Thanks for the encouraging words BadKharma. All this positive feedback is enough to make a girl blush. :smug: I definitely hope my perspective will be quite unique and that I can add some intresting contributions to the overall concept.

Ask yourself the all important question. Who is hurt by this action? Hmm... that'd be you. Your action would be like giving up Icecream cus Ben & Jerry don't like axe weilding lunatics.
Goldflash has from time to time pissed alot of people off. As memory serves (and yes it seldom does), amongst those he has clashed with often is Wyrmshadow, the self-same unit master / creator of 800 units for this mod.
I've made less then 5% of this in total units... I can't imagine having made just that many for a single mod.
Do yourself a favor, hock your AXE... or just sack Paris... and get the hardware to get the most comprehensive civ3 mod you're ever likely to see.
And ignore weither GF got dissed or got what he deserved. Ultimately that is between GF and those 7 voters and is of no concern to you or I.
 
They told me they were voting on Nov 5th, not 4th so I missed the election. Oh well, George Bush doesn't care about Polish Poeple!!! Boycott, Boycott!!

I don't even remember why Goldflash ticked me off, but I'm sure he did some time ago. And no I did not get to vote because I didn't see where it was going on.

Why? Because he wasn't chosen? So what. He lost in a fair vote, he had the same chance as getting in as everyone. Simply because no one voted for him is not a reason to boycott it. It being whats called a sore loser. Besides pissing off a lot off people compare his reason for wanting to test with everyone elses.
 
But why is the number of testers limited ? :hmm:
 
I think we're all being a little stupid in fighting here, and there's probably a limited amount of testers because SOE is a big mod with a lot of new graphics, and they don't want all of it out yet.

We dissed him? Neither you nor I have no idea who the voters were or what their reason for voting the way they voted was so you can't say we dissed him. So stop complaining now.
 
Excuse me did I make posts like dont let GF test or make any derogatory comments concerning him no..........so just by not choosing him I dissed him? Well I guess I dissed alot of non life or limb threatening injured patients as a paramedic because I triaged them lower on the MCI list. I really do not know what kind of tester GF is so I didnt vote for him. I voted for the people I felt would do the best job or bring a unique spin on the testing process and MC is doing one hell of a job so I'm glad one of my votes went to him.:goodjob:
 
Thank good its finally coming out. I play barbarrossa on civ3 conquests and I thought it was a huge scenario with divisional level. my 333 mhz is barely able to handle it. I've got a 1.8 Mhz in toronto which I hope will be able to handle this mega monster you've created. Arrgh. Will there be trading of resources. As I understand it this causes the program to slow down. How about a teaser detailing building and wonders. Patrol boats, squadrons and battalions... the insanity , the insanity.

Must get SOE 5 soon, soon arrrgh....

The 333 mhz won't be able to handle it the 1.8Ghz miost likely will. I'm not going to tell you how long the turns were when I first started but night now they are at a hlaf hour and we still have plans to cut out a lot of the AI trading options as thats a lot of a turn.

Evo is down, anyone know how much longer it will be till it comes back?

1) A jury is not a democracy (and b4 you imply anything- I wasn't part of that jury).

2) As far as I can tell, of the 5 people in question only 4 people were to be taken forth. That means that there is one on the list that wont make it...
