Does anyone here record their gaming sessions, or stream them? There seems to be a wide variety of websites that can stream, and some people seem to record and upload to YouTube. I'm a little confused with all the options. Of course I'm looking for free solutions. I was looking at Twitchtv for a while, but it seems most people there use a software called xSplit that is soon to become a pay-for software. Someone told me to simply use livestream, which seems to have its own software that is very simple to use, but with low quality. I dunno, too many options.

I'm not too sure what the question is really. I'm kind of looking for general advice. I'm interested both in streaming and recording. I'm guessing the softwares for these two tasks are different. Level of complexity is an issue also. Things that would require me to sync sound and graphics cards, things that include words like "card capture" and whatnot... Just a recipe for a wasted week-end trying to make it work, hehe.

EDIT: I guess ability for the software to capture microphone input could be important too.
