Wait a minute, isn't an epic game an ordinary one of the same type we've been playing in past DG's (i.e. not a conquest)?

If that is true, then I strongly support playing another epic, though perhaps with some self-imposed restrictions or an increased difficulty level. We need to make the game more difficult to make it uncertain whether or not we'll win, but the overall format is right, I feel.

It is a regular game, and not a Conquest. The conquest option failed in the first poll.

The other ones on Ravensfires list is untrue, and have been proven thus many times already.

i am in favor of playing a epic game, but still keeping our empire small

I think the title "epic" is misleading...almost all variants, including 5CC fall under "epic." The thread does not specifically state what type of epic game this is.

Epic is basicly a standard game with no variants.

i am (for this DG) completely against this, all the DGs so far have been epic right? since i only joined this DG mid game and was to lazy to read all those archives i think that change is needed, if we want to jump start participation like Strider said we should have change in the game but if epic game wins then so be it i will stay loyal to the DG
