All,
I'be been playing Civ 4 BTS since it was released. I'm playing the final build and Vista is all patched etc etc..
I run:
Vista Ultimate 32
4GB RAM
Two Nvidia 8800GT (SLI) 512MB each..
The game has always run with few problems (except for the video memory issues which seem to not want to go away). However, just recently the game has started crashing with bad memory allocation. I've checked my RAM with Memtest and it seems OK (plus I can play much higher spec'd games with no crashes at all). The last time I had the issue I also noticed something really weird - the amount of cash I had available to spend wasn't adding up properly
Once I had over 1000 then the next addition would be mathematically incorrect and it simply refused to let me have >2000.
Has anyone seen this or is it just a one off?
TIA
