The AI seems to have little care for its own existence.

1: I march 3 axemen into culture boundaries of a capital (AI should be able to see me) but I can't see the city square yet. My scout that went through a round or two earlier saw it had a warrior and 2 archers. It's the AI's only city and my scouts can see all around its culture border (no settlers moving). Next round my axemen move close enough to see the city. The AI had moved the 2 archers out of the city. The following round I attack and he never pulled the archers back which he could of before I attacked.

2: Workers seem to run right up along an enemy even going outside your culture borders to build a road with an animal within attack range. Pre BtS they would stay a couple squares away from enemy borders or animals outside culture and such now workers are just a bunch of crack heads... I can't even trust them to build connecting roads any more...

1. I guess the AI abandons voluntarily cities when it thinks they will be lost anyway. Blake coded that in BetterAI, so it's probably still true.

2. Yes, worker AI is not perfect, I saw several of my workers being captured in war time.

Yes, if the AI knows it is going to lose a city, it will decide it better to pull back troops to a better defended better odds battle.

The workers to seem to be a little more chance happy now.

I could understand the better odds in better defended city, IF they had another city.
