Anyone going on/back from any interesting holidays this year?
I got back from Australia about three weeks ago. :D
A rather boring holiday, but I did get a nice kangaroo claw as a souvenier. Also, in Townsville, I saw a tower which I have dubbed "the Pringle Tower", because it looks like a tube of pringles (at least, it does when the sun is in your eyes), and the thing on top of it looks like a pringle (again, when the sun is in your eyes).

I have lots of other memories, but I couldn't be bothered to give the whole tale. Oh yeah, and Oaks is good. Very good.

One question for Australians- Why the hell would any remotely sane person put beetroot on a burger?!
Also, Aussie TV sucks- seriously, seriously sucks. Badly.

My summer was great. I went to my hometown in north-western Bulgaria. Not only was the nature great, but I also had some fun in the city. :)

The oldest part of this fort by the cliffs is about 1,500 years old (but not the walls you see here though, they are about 300-400 yrs old).

I'm going to the US (Seattle-San Francisco) in a month, can't wait to finally leave :D

Las Vegas and St. Louis. (Cities in the United States, for our foreign friends)

Cayman Islands (in the Carribean, owned by UK) and Taiwan.

I didn't really go on holidays, but I attended a meeting with some other forum members in London. Which is in England.

I went to San Francisco, Yosemite, and sat in an airport in Chicago for too long.

San Francisco has the most dangerous, stupid, and fun transportation system in the world: Trolleys. Anything that had hand-powered brakes, can't fully stop in intersections, is loaded with tourists, and comes within 3 inches (literally) of passing things can't be safe. But is fun.

Yosemite is filled with foreigners and Asian kids on schooltrips. And most of the waterfalls dry up.

I didn't go anyway. However I did get invited to go to Andalusia next year, free:D
