Super Tribes

The Republic of Korea apologises for the delay in playing this turn. There has been a movement in the senate backing the invasion of England. Some examples of the whispers:

"But sir, we have scores of idle workers, they can be put to good use helping the English work their land. We look across the border and only see land in its natural state."

Ï hear rumours of an English task force on a mission to acquire rubber, we must bring the English to their knees before they arm themselves and attack once more"

"We have assembled quite a military; it seems churlish not to use it"

"The English people need liberating. The borders are swarmed by refugees wanting to make a new life in Korea."

The turn will played soon, once the Senate reaches consensus.

The senate debate remained balanced until one gentleman pointed out that England has uranium, something not available in the great nation of Korea. The Koreans go to war.

Excellent reporting, Tom.

The evil Koreans are eating our dogs

Re captured 1 city killing two tanks and a gorilla. Chased off 2 tanks in the north and discovered an invincible gorilla. 1 health and he killed 3 before dying.

Managed to kill some settlers and escorts.

Our lack of modern resources has been our undoing, it was only a matter of time before this happened.

We beseech our friends the Macedonians to intercede before the Koreans take over the world.

I'll not destroy all the cities. Even though cyc doing that left me underdeveloped and behind.

The Macedon Council debates long into the night on the issue of the Second Anglo-Korean War. After deliberations are over, a proclamation is issued:

We, the Council of Macedon, do resolve on a course of neutrality in this time of conflict. We hope for a peaceful solution to the current crisis, and we will accept refugees along our borders.

Both sides are warned that no military action may be launched through Macedon territory.

I made sure there were plenty of resources for all. Either in your area or available through trade. Sully also complained about a lack of resources. But they were there. Had he expanded and developed his nation, he would have found them.

Hawk, you took over the Russian lands, plus you had your own. If you can't find resources, it's because you're not looking. If you are working with two nation's lands and are lacking resources on an equitable map such as this.... Well, then again you are the British....

It's the lack of rubber. When it became visible there was some to the north, in Korean lands.

Yep, I've got two sources of rubber, both on the margins of the Korean empire. Although I don't have uranium, Hawk does (although he may not know it yet!), hence the invasion.

Just to be clear with the above. I did not complain Cyc. I did mention that there was a lack in the early game with little gold and some other basic ones. I made it clear that I was not being critical merely making an observation for your consideration. And yes..my opening play wasn't as strong as it could have been. But given the original starting location compared to the others...yes it did seem like there was a lack of basic strategic resources. As the game has played on there has been ample modern resources. SO it has balenced out over centruries.

On another note I replayed the game again with the zip save and it crashed again after I played my turn and tried to save it. It is not happening with other games I am in. So I'm asking E to replay his last turn and send me a new save.

Sorry to be the fly in the ointment guys. But my C3C is working fine with other game saves except this most recent Tribes save. Cant explain it. I'm thinking its a "CyC Curse"!!!! :crazyeye:
