I've been able to comprehend Victoria and I still have no clue what the hell was going on in that game, you have to get all the resources you need while also creating structures to either aid your army, resource creation and I think you can even build residential areas.
Normally this would sound like fun to me but it became a micromanagement nightmare, leading me to eventually uninstalled it after the 4th unsuccessful attempt to create my Canadian empire.
You were actually able to get your hands on the game?
The whole summer my dad was trying to get the game from every store possible, but none of them had it.
Did you try the SR2020 demo? I downloaded it but never did try it. It does look like a lot of micromanagement. As for Victoria, I have Victoria: Revolutions and really like it. It takes a while to learn it but once you do it's an addictive strategy game.
SR2020 was horrible IMO. I never did figure it out or feel it was worth my time. Sadly I actually bought the full game and never played the demo.
I actually think I might get this game, it seems to have had many tutorials added in patches, and apparently different aspects of it can now be automated. New XP out in a few weeks too...
