Just updated to this latest version and when I start, I get the error in the attachment.
EDIT: just cleared my cache and the error has disappeared - ignore my message
EDIT2: loaded a game I was playing last weekend, I allowed it recalculate the modifiers, clicked the "next turn" button and within a minute, Civ4 closed with no errors. Restarted the game but this time did not recalculate - again, within a few seconds after clicking the "end turn" button, the programs closed. Decided to start a new game but on the first turn I noticed I was getting a doubling of some of the unit names (see attachment)
