Sweden is bugged in Switch version

There is no nobel prize competition. It never comes up even in modern era. So swiden is basically one armed now. I do hope it gets fixed but now sweden ability of nobel prize is no more.

On a semi related note, do you get the votes for the DipVic? I get competitions, modification of aspects of the game and the emergencies, but I don't get anything about reducing other people's DipVic points or anything as mentioned in guides etc. I'm not sure if it's that the Switch version is broken or if I'm just misunderstanding the DipVic conditions.

I also didn’t see any Noble prize competitions when playing as Sweden recently. However, I thought that was because I won a diplomatic victory too early in the game to see them after getting the Statue of Liberty — it didn’t occur to me that it may be a bug instead.

I can see the votes for either increasing or decreasing players diplomatic victory points as the 3rd item on the list of issues to vote on at the World Congress. It doesn’t appear when the World Congress first meet, so I think you must have to reach a certain milestone in the game before the option to vote on diplomatic victory points starts appearing.

I've completed games (as in full tech and civic trees, no wonders, etc), and it's never come up, I have had three issues, but it was a competition, a choice on amenities/luxuries and one on units.

It's possible it's because I disabled the victory, the science one didn't work either (I launched the exo planet expedition, and ran literally dozens of the laser station projects, but nothing ever happened), I'm working on a SV now. I just expected it to carry on as usual, just without it ending in a victory (ie, you could still vote to decrease DVPs since you still earn them, just it won't ever get you a DipVic).
