Here is a Swedish Musketeer around 1670. It came with two attack animations: AttackA with fire and AttackB with Sword.
The unit is game tested.

Thanks to Vuldacon for palette tips, Sandris, CamJH and Utah Jazz for animations and tips.

Congratulations imperator1961, The preview Looks Very Good :goodjob:
... all of the unit making procedures and better ways of accomplishing what you want and need will become easier as you continue to make more units.

IF you want it, here is an alternate units_32.pcx, SE direction with Civ Specific color and has the units_32 Game palette loaded.

:goodjob:Interesting- however I dont think the Swedish musketeer used a helmet, he used a triangel hat. (At least in the scanian war 1675-89)

Right on, I'm all about musketeer animations that use both a musket and a rapier! I think I was asking for something similar for French musketeers a while back.

One thing, though: from the preview, it looks like he doesn't actually put the stock of the musket against his shoulder for firing. Is this an illusion? Or intentional?

Something I noticed as well, in the East direction he looks to be bringing it to his elbow. Everything looks fine after he's up and firing as you can't see it extending back into the crook of the right elbow. At least its better than the Fireaxis Infantry!

Someone else does this, and I concluded its not that noticable... For some reason its seems really difficult to brace rifles against the shoulder of the paperdoll..

Yes, its' true. I really take more and more times to eliminate this problem, but it seems to me impossible. Maybe someone can cut off a part of the butt of the musket.
