System suddenly below specs

Hey all,

For the last few weeks sometimes when I load up CIV it states my system is below the recommended specs and lowers my graphics.

Any idea what is causing this I can't figure this out? My system far exceeds the requirments:

i7 920 2.67ghz
9gb ram
nvidia Geforce GTX 260

the min specs check is a bit trigger happy (I suspect it just sends a bunch of queries to the system and if they get delayed it decides its below the specs - often some antivir software and other background applications can cause such delays though). You can safely turn it off by opening the civilizationIV.ini and setting hideminspecwarning from 0 to 1.
