'Hunted' is what the producer of those ads will be...

Damn advert for 'The hunter' keeps on interupting my music.

Why can I not turn the sound off for good? It's so loud that it is about twice the volume of everything else on my PC, and I get it every 3 or 4 pages that I load.

This is enough to discourage me from coming here often.

This morning I was getting server busy messages but it could still stream sound and graphics for the adds. Hope we don't have to get to the point that we are reducing avatars and searches so we can support the add spam.

Looking at the latest reply in this thread has triggered 'the hunter' ad for at least the 20th time today.

Well if you people are too inept to stop pop-ups then that is your lookout.


Opera has a feature than means I can refuse all pop-up windows which allows me easily to prevent any such windows opening.

The Hunted ad is a banner ad, you can't stop that with a popup blocker.

I think that it only works on some browsers. See, I'm on AOL right now, and I have the 'Hunted' ad loaded. But despite having the sound on, I can't hear it.

But on IE I could hear it.
