Tattoos and Earrings?

It isn't quite tatooing or piercing, nor is it pretty, its more for reaching your "inner self". Here it is:
The body is suspended from a ceiling by more or less 15 hooks through your back skin. Supposedly after a few minutes, the pain goes away, and you reach a state of relaxation and reaching your inner self.
To me, it's disgusting. Being suspended from a ceiling with hooks in your back and legs just is wrong.
I think they also have suspensions from your stomach area, which just seems like torture to me, even worse.

I have a pierced ear, but I haven't worn an earring in it since before I was married, maybe Summer of 94 was when I stopped wearing it. The hole's still there, but it might be closed up in the back. I might someday put an earring back in it. . .dunno.

I am tempted to say that I killed two birds with on e stone and got a earing tatoo, but the truth is the last option.
tatoos are vile (IMHO no offence intended to Panda or others), earings should only be worn by women.

I've considered a tattoo in the past, but I can't think of anything that I'd want to be a part of me for the rest of my life. Sure, something might be 'cool' right now, but will it still be cool when I'm old and wrinkly?

I don't have any tattoos or piercings. I'd like to get a tattoo, but I still have to find one I really like and that I know I'm not going to hate it later.

Lots of holes in my ears, but I haven't worn earrings since 1995.
One tattoo -- a black inverse sun on my left back shoulder. I got it on St Patrick's Day 1992, and have never regretted it. I even had it touched up a couple years ago.

Don't plan to do a tatto in the current situation, but maybe in the future.
Even my father has some tattoes (done in the army, not the best looking tattoes I seen but at least he's got them). So I might get one someday.

I have the requisite two holes in my ears, but I hardly ever wear earrings. I'm not sure why, because I like them. Tatoos? Enh. Most of them I find ugly, and the ones I don't, I feel no particular need to get.
