Here are some tech chooser from my mod. I feel, researching some techs like free artistry, makes much more fun with these choosers. The techs: freeArtistry, musicTheory, combustion, screw-propeller, torpedo, ironclads, steel, computers, nuclear power, cold war, ICBM.

I think the same about the Free artistry and music theory tech choosers. That´s why I placed them in the first row. It´s a fine feeling to paint the "Mona Lisa".

BTW, am I the only one that would rush as fast as I could to the DaVinci wonder in civ2 just to hear that coooool music playing?

Yes, please do it. We always need all things that make civ3 a better game.

And of course: Thank you Rambuchan and Stormrage. And Stormrage, I don´t know if you are the only one on the whole globe that rushes in civ 2 the DaVinci wonder just to hear that coooool music playing, but I must confess, I never did this . But If anyone has an idea how to implement a lot of better "wonder finished" soundtracks in civ 3 (not only one), I´m interested.

Those are very nice, Civinator. The only thing I see here is that you may try to sharpen the Ironclad tech a little bit. Good work.

Here are the next techchooser from my mod: Juris Prudence, 54-Philosophy, 41-mathematics, 56-Polytheism and 30-gunpowder. Please note that the Polytheism icon was done from one of Harlans excellent wondersplashes. The new gunpowder icon is the bombarde "Tolle Grethe von Gent".

To answer a question about the "30-gunpowder" icon:

The wooden structure on top of the gun is a moveable "wooden entrenchement" based on an axle above the bombarde and positioned by chains at the 4 corners of that entrenchement. If the two chains at the front of the entrenchement are tied down, the bombard is protected from arrows and muskets while preparing to fire. If the two chains at the end of the wodden entrenchement are tied down, the entrenchement rises and the bombard can fire.
