Tech Icon Makers Challenge:May,2006

[Storm Grunt]

Due to William's INTERNET technical difficulties I will get this started for him.

Welcome to the second monthly Tech Icon makers challenge.

So here are the rules:

1. Everyone may enter a tech icon, as long as:
The submitter is the creator of the Tech Icon
The Tech Icon is the first working version and is therefore new, not posted before either on this website, nor on any other.
The new Tech Icon must be available for download for the civ community.
Cut ‘n pasters can also join.
Upon submission a GIF preview of the tech Icon needs to be provided!
2. There is no theme in this competition. Any tech icon can participate!

3. The tech icon maker can choose any tech icon he wants. For inspiration and ideas the first page of the call thread of that month may contain some request by other members.

4. A link to the tech icon together with a preview needs to be posted in this thread MAY 30 2006. After that a jury thread will be launched in which the winner will be decided by a 1 week poll.

5. This is supposed to be a friendly competition between gentlemen (m/f ). Please stay friendly to each other at all times...

And what is that staff in the middle ?

Not sure what 'thingy' you mean. The staff is just a design touch. I agree a Star of David would have been of more universal use to people. But it wasn't for me for the purposes when getting the icon together.

Thanks StormGrunt. My internet is still down and I'm using Dial-Up on my around 10 year old, windows 95 computer. I can't UL or DL anyything nor easily navigate so I'm still might as well be down. I should be back up in a week or two and certainly by June. Thanks also to Bluemofia for letting you all know. I hope I'm able to enter and thanks to Spacer for the jury thread; I'm sorry my internet went down. So this is Major Tom!

O.K. RL your Supergate is in and preview is up.

Guy's you should use ImageShack for your previews and pics its free and you dont use up your file attachment allowance.Plus it makes it easy for me to link a preview in the second post.
