I think that I am just being stupid, but I don't understand your post. Could you clarify some more?

"Can I just click one tech in the tech tree, and not have to bother choosing tech progression again for the entire game?"

No, you can't just click one tech for the entire game. You pretty much wouldn't want to either.

I'm a CIV4 player. And just thinking if not chose tec pregression. Just click one in tech path and just play. I believe that chose, for sample, Plastics, will give me some advantage. It's important chose each tec after other, but if exists some trick, it is that I want.

Looks like eldar called it. Leskito, your last post may explain some of our confusion. This is the Civ 3 forum. You are, of course, welcome here, but some of us (like myself) know very little about Civ 4.
