I'm beelining Monotheism right now while I have the tech lead. ;) So I can see what it takes to get Judaism.

I thought that the religions were just moving one place ie they would be on a tech that only required the one they come with now. Am I wrong?

The many of the techs have more than one requirement making them harder to beeline to. Also many were moved to more appropriate tech and even specialized new religious techs such as Reincarnation, Resurrection, Scriptures and Karma. These techs cross different religions.

Other changes like Asatru having its old tech Ship Building plus an addition tech Polytheism, was made since Asatru has a wide Pantheon of Gods. It made no sense to know that religion but never discover Polytheism yet.

All I added was Megalith Construction (which seemed to be a big part of Druid culture with megaliths like Stonehenge).

You've made Naturopathy redundant (Naturopathy - Adhesives - Personal Adornment - Bead Making - Ceremonial Burial - Mysticism - Megalith Construction - Druidism). I just got done doing a redundancy check on the new techs. There are a few others that I will be sending by PM to ls612.

So you need to be a Druid to build megaliths but you can't be a Druid until you can build megaliths.:crazyeye:

Well don't do anything to that yet. DH may want the Megalith Construction requirement removed. And thus the Druidism tech would need to be move to a new spot such as X9 Y15 and a new cost of 13.

This would seem preferable to me.

Ok we can chnage that. However I think the other techs are good (unless you can persuade me otherwise).

I am not sure who controls this part but here are icon/buttons for every religion for when they found their religion. Its basically the new icon/buttons with a :religion: in the lower right corner.

They go into the art/interface/techtree folder. If they have the same name as the current (old) one, ie the religion name, then there is no more work. If not they should be renamed or the religion infos XML changed.

Oh what the heck I'll do it.

BTW Hydro, now you have found the :religion: any chance you can change the irreligion civic icon to this with a crossed circle rather than the current anti-Christian looking one?

That did cross my mind when doing them. I will update the Irreligion icon/button next time I update my FPK (I have a set of buildings I am working on).

As JosEPh_II said Divination should be at X20 Y17 and Mesopotamism at X20 Y19.

You might want to relook at this as it places Mesop on top of another tech again.
