When you just submitted the change to the svn it reads:
<Button>Art/Interface/Buttons/TechTree/andeanism</Button

should be:

<Button>Art/Interface/Buttons/TechTree/andeanism.dds</Button

Doh, I'll fix that when I commit consumerism and propaganda. :blush:
 
Sounds good to me. I question the wisdom though of having three corporations founded on the same technology, that seems like a bad idea.

We have 5 Corporations at Refrigeration right now. Here is the current breakdown of Corporations by their additional tech (that is, other than Corporation):

  • Assembly Line (1): Emperors Clothing
  • Civil Engineering (3): Bullseye, East West Traders, MallWart
  • Combustion (1): Creative Constructions
  • Computers (1): Mapster
  • Industrialism (2): Fashion House, Wonka Confectionaries
  • Logistics (1): Ultimate Soldiers
  • Medicine (1): Sid's Sushi Co
  • Motion Pictures (2): Civilized Jewelers, Red Curtains
  • Organic Chemistry (1): Standard Ethanol
  • Railroad (1): Mining Inc
  • Refrigeration (5): Big McDowell's, Burgerworld, Cereal Mills, Mobby Meats, Moonbeam Coffeehouse
  • Rocketry (1): Aluminum Co
  • Screw Propeller (1): Sid's Sushi Co
  • Tourism (3): Adventure Tours, Mile High Travels, Safari Hunters

We could keep one or two of Bullseye/East West Traders/MallWart at Civil Engineering and move the others to Consumerism. I also really think Civilized Jewelers needs to be at Consumerism. Big McDowell's, Burgerworld, and Moonbeam Coffeehouse would be the ones I would move to Franchises.

I think adding a second tech requirement may be a better solution. Sid's Sushi Co has two why shouldn't some of the others. Eg leave all three Bullseye/East West Traders/MallWart at Civil Engineering and add Consumerism to MallWart, a ship tech to East West Traders. I can't remember what Bullseye is.

Oh, and Aluminum Co needs to be on the tech that revels bauxite. I have managed to build this one a few times long before I have had aluminum or at least when i was able to get that far. The tech tree may be different now.

It took me forever to figure out what Bullseye is -- it's a spoof of Target. It has the exact same stats as MallWart, except that MallWart grants +1.5 food per resource (Apples/Bananas/Lemons/Olives/Potatoes), and Bullseye grants +1 food per copy of the same resource and a flat +1 health.

Bauxite is revealed at Industrialism. You should be able to get Aluminum Factory going well before Rocketry. The pathway is Industrialism - Advanced Metallurgy - Motorized Transportation - Machine Tools - Rocketry, which is where Aluminum Co is located. I think it should be at Advanced Metallurgy instead, so it's one tech after the Bauxite is revealed.

I'm still not too sure what East West Traders is, is it the East India Trading Company?

Possibly, but it seems too late to be East India Company, and we already have that as a separate Wonder. I'm guessing it's supposed to be something like Trader Joe's or Pier 1 Imports, or the modern version of the Hudson's Bay Company.

I changed the Mall, Supermarket and even the Shopping District. However I am a bit confused on what to chnage for Bullseye, East-West Traders, Emperor's Clothing and MallWart.

Note their files are still in the core. Could someone like DH look at them and see how they should be changed? I am not familiar with what all is attached for corporations.

Sure but the above does say what tech to put into each corporation? Can only have 2.
 
Playing with Divine Prophets i'm faced with the recent religion changes.
The former founding techs get still the prophet while the new religion founding techs stay without prophets.
E.g. naturopathy receives a prophet while the new founding tech druidism does not receive one.
Who ever did the changes, please consider this for the future updates.

The former founding techs get still the prophet while the new religion founding techs stay without prophets.
E.g. naturopathy receives a prophet while the new founding tech druidism does not receive one.
Who ever did the changes, please consider this for the future updates.

Since ThunderBird is the DP man maybe he can help here?

Also can't you hold the GP until you research the founding tech and then use the GP? Or are you concerned that the AI won't if DP is used?

I have no idea how DP works, so I'm going to have to say that DP is broken until someone who understand Python fixes it. :(
 
May have to PM T-Bird and/or DH about it then.

Of course i can hold the great Prophet.
But it's not the way DP is meant to be.
 
I realize that and is why I also asked if the AI, while you're using the DP Option, was handling it or not.

I've PM'd T-Bird about this issue. So hopefully we can get it fixed. :)
