Tech Tree for my mod: Extreme Civilization IV

Yeah, that's a complaint I have against many of these mods. Techs such as stone tools, fire, and ceremonil burial had been around for thousands of years before the first cities.

I'm alone in my opinions, aren't I.

(Actually, I think Asaf once said something to the same extent about preferring to add new components to just adding stuff.)

You make a good point...

However, some civs in the un-modded version of Civilization IV still have to research agriculture, fishing, or worse, HUNTING.

(I know I'm a newbie here, and I probably shouldn't be correcting older members, and I apologize, but I just wanted to point something out. No offense. :P )

I like this idea. My brother and I enjoy playing loooooooooong games so I'll try this out when it's done. Yeah stone tools were around for ages before cities, but Civ is full of archaeological inconsistencies and biases. It's not a scholarly article, it's a game, so let's try new things.

Err, this comment was posted nearly two years ago. Not sure what I was thinking when I posted.
