Telemarketer gets totally PWNED!

:rotfl:

You guys in the States do these like no one else. This was one smooth, deft operation against these scum. Man did I get some satisfaction.

:rotfl: That was hilarious.

:goodjob: telemarketers sure are the scum of this world. I wish I could lash out like that at 'em

lol that was great, i loved it how the guy was still trying to cut a deal. Although i guess if the suicide had said yes to bring the contract around he would have sent the cops

It was funny. I'd hate to work as a telemarketer or as a customer service operator. When I call to a customer service to make a complaint, I try to be as polite as I can.

The guy was helpful and quite a nice person. I almost feel sorry for him. Anyway, I think it is not for real, it is prepared, otherwise, how did the person who answer the phone know that a telemarketer from a funeral house was going to call him?

He didn't. He said he was waiting for a sign, not a telephone call. ;)

Yep... I know that, but he also said that the telemarketer was the sign he was waiting for, and, what a coincidence, a telemarketer from a funeral house :mischief:

I felt sorry for the telemarketer right up until he asked if the guy could hold off for a day and get the deal done first.

I think at the beginning they silenced the company he was from, so he would have an idea if he hears "I'm Bob ________ calling from Here today, gone tomorrow funeral plots"

Incredible. I laughed my rear off!

You know a good way of getting rid of telesales calls (at least in England) is to tell them that you are not the owner of the home. Whether it is true or not, just tell them that. They will hang up faster than you can.

(Typically it is some kind of home improvement service or product, or something which is attached to the value of your house that they want to push on you in the UK. Tenants are not the kind of folk they want to talk to. Of course this doesn't work if they are trying to sell you a mobile phone or the like. There's also a national service over here that you can sign up to, which removes your number from telemarketers source data. Well worth it.)

No just some poor bastards whon couldnt get better jobs. if they bother you, you should write a letter to a politician or something and demand they change the law so companies cant call you and try and sell you something.

im not a telemarketer, but my brother was for a few months.

I had the same reaction when I read the other two posts. Its a job that exists and the anger should be directed at the people who allow it to happen rather than the employees.
