Televised World Baseball Classic Games

Are the WBC games televised?

  • Yes, but I live in a country that doesn't have a team.

Are they showing any World Baseball Classic games on TV where you are? Here, it's mostly basketball and local programming on the ESPN channels.

I saw part of the South Africa-Mexico game last night, so I know that it is getting at least a little air time in Canada.

In Eastern Canada, they're showing the Canadian games at least. (lol for you Americans - inside the park homerun anyone?) We saw the Cuban game too, which is good, since I heard there was some American intitiative to ban Cuba from the competition. Good thing it didn't happen.

I didn't get to see the inside-the-park-homerun. Anyway, check out Australia's team batting average tomorrow or later tonight when they update the stats. It'll be something like .040. Anyway, looks like Canada is hinging on a USA loss, or a USA win with more than 10-12 runs given up (that would give Canada the Runs Allowed victory).

And while that happens, perhaps Jimmy Hoffa will show up and tell us where he has been for the last 31 years. ;)
