Babylonians
Peace Treaty
Polite
Technologically inferior (to us)
Same size military
Unimpressed by our culture
18 gold
2 cities: Ur, Ninevah
No resources/luxuries, may be able to get wine
I really don't consider Babylon a threat at the moment. They are far from us and have lower tech. If they should ever decide to attack we have Epolener as a good stronghold to fend off their attacks as well as the entire Gem Mountain Range. It also looks like they are south enough to have tundra in their cities.
Romans
Peace Treaty
Annoyed
Scientific equal (we lead by 2 techs), they have Iron Working
Same size military
Unimpressed by our culture
34 gold
2 cities: Veii, Antium
No resources/luxuries, may be able to get wine, iron, horses
The Romans have the potential to become quite the thorn. It would appear they have a good starting location and ample of room to expand and get the early resources.
Iroquois
Peace Treaty
Polite
Scientific equal
Same size military
Unimpressed by our culture
11 gold
3 cities: Niagara Falls, Grand River, Alleghany
Has horse, will get iron and fur, possible wines
Not really a big threat to us. They're on the other end of the continent and the Romans and Babylonians will probably end up bordering them, not us.
Zulu
Peace Treaty
Polite
Scientific equal, most tech advanced of our neighbors
Same size military
Unimpressed by our culture
10 gold
3 cities: Ulundi, Bapedi, Hlobane
Will get horse and iron
It looks like the Zulu have expanded in a vertical line. They may pose a threat to us, but not at the moment. If we can successfully block their expansion westward, they will pose little threat.
***Please note that all of these civs only have contact with us, and not with each other. Also that the cities listed are the ones listed in the trade screen.
