Discussion:
We have decided that this is a commerce/GNP city so it will be attempting to grow to the happiness/health limit while producing building to help it and units to help the country. Since it appears war is not very likely the focus will be on workers/settlers and buildings. Any wonders (after voting) will also be an important build for the city. By the end of this term I hope to have a Shrine and producing enough gnp to rival the capital.

Instead of workers and settlers, could you build a missionary now and then?

I have to see who many got built last TC. I was wondering if we plan on sending them into the other nearby civs. But yes they are on my to build list...I had forgotten to put that in the post.

i would only build workers or settlers if asked by our citizens. :)

Coppertown has been converted, the missionary for Riversight is on route, and the missionary for NoneOfTheAbove is being produced. There was talk of converting Germany, but that was before they founded a religion, I'm not sure how effective that would be, but spreading still provides the intelligence benefit, and the commerce benefit once we get that shrine.

After looking at the current save....

I will build one more missionary and then a forge for the production and happiness benefits.

We are leading the nation in science and in commerce and tied for the most hammers. This city is the GREATEST of our nation...as I had promised. And it will only get better. Once we grow with the increase happiness from the forge.

With war going on and us being a great production city right now...

All plans for development are postponed in favor of building units. Unless told otherwise we will build keshicks since we are further away they can use their movement to make up the distance. In addition they are a bit more expensive than axes so again..higher production means quicker than other cities.

Robboo, it might be wise to change a citizen towards the farmed floodplain to allow some growth.

I apologize, I think the tile usage might have gotten messed up by a Barbarian wondering around, he moved to the floodplain before moving to the Eastern Gold mine.

After I mentioned a gpt deficit, Grant asked me if EA was still working the Gold mine... since there had just been a Barb Axeman there it was no longer being worked... didn't think to check the floodplain

I think I had it stagnant to help production till we got a health/happioness resource. BUT if the danger is past we can resume some growth.

unless falcon is correct...then its not a worry

The city is now at happiness cap, but the silver will come online in 1 turn, giving another 2 :)

ok in my next TC instructions I will adjust my tiles. I have not had the time yet to look at the save in great detail.

We're currently not working the cottage, thus wasting 2 gold. Could we assign a citizen to this tile? Also, I suggest we consider developing another cottage in order to increase the commerce of EA. (We might even want to cottage a flood plain.)

I think the food development very well done here:
Two flood farms to support two hills gold; one grass farm to support the
horses;still one more grass need to be farmed to support one hills (8-8 from
site); and two more grass to be cottaged.

Best regards,

I will look at it...BUT Food is of more importance here. This isnt going to be a cottage rich city due to the gold hills. We have to have the food now to feed the citizens.

Best regards,

Thats one plan except I am not gogin to completely improve the city unless we have spare workers. We can only grow slowly so no need to waste worker turns until we need the tile.
