Term 6- Governor's Council

Sigma gets my approval.

Well Whomp hasn't said anything either, so you still have 2/5, less than 50%. ;)

EDIT: Scratch that. :D

:shake: Sorry, Whomp, no offence!
Is 60% enough?
Do I not get a vote Sweet?

I'm inclined to see if we can get some workers back to the core. They're quite concentrated in the jungles and it would be nice to get one back to you.

I would use the chop for a market. It will be quite a few hammers.
We really need the gems IMO but man that's a long haul. Happiness will hold us back without them.

We have the gems guys..happiness only happens once per resource.

Well, I think we all agree to appoint Sigma.

Although, my input doesn't count, I'm not a governor.

Edit: Actually, before we appoint Sigma to MG, I believe CivGeneral asked for the job a long while back. I'll give him 24 hours to respond.

I thought CivGeneral decided to become Nobody's Prime Minister instead. I have my screenshots and maps done and ready for when you make your decision.

Dear Governors,

I would like to build the Globe Theatre in Fort Impervious once the Aqueduct is complete (in 9 turns). By clearing the jungle (nearly complete) and building the Aqueduct we will be able to support a bigger population and run specialists. We have more than enough food.

In order to increase hammers to speed up production I intend to build a mine and chop the forest W of the city. Because Globe Theatre removes all  unhappy citizens, I would be prepared to whip up to 2 pop to help things along as well.

I thing the chop and pop rush will account for about 100 to 130 of the 450 :hammers: we need. I hope with 1 mine to get get production to 8 per turn which will mean it will take at most 43 turns to build.

I think the culture would be a bigger benefit here than in Auda Minor as we are a border city.

Here is a screenshot of the city

I will ask the DP to halt play after the Aqueduct is built. Please let me know your votes and if favourable I will ask the next DP to build it.

As both Govenor of Auda Minor and Minister of culture. I approve of building the Globe Theatre here. It looks like Ft. Impervious would have a lot of potential once we rid ourselves of the  and :yuck:

Old bus..Only a tri can order a stop...I will put it in my orders if you chose. Unless you can get our president to post orders.

Pm me if you want me too..SInce I will check that more often than the forum threads today.:)

Thank you for the appointment. My first action as Governor of MG will be to produce two workers. These workers will be used to improve the northern peninsula, which hasn't gotten much attention since we've acquired many more cities. ;)

If anyone has any objection to this, please let me know right away and I will change my orders if necessary.

I don't have an objection, but the citizen's might. Don't workers count as units, and that's 2 gold (atleast) right there to keep them up. Maybe you should run it by the citizen's first.

Okay, will do. Though I'm confident that they will pay for themselves in the long term. ;)

Ooops - I hadn't realised that. I'd be grateful if you could post that as I don't think we'll get enough responses to have a consensus before tomorrow's TC.

I will change my order to switch to Courthouse after Aqueduct as that is the next thng to build after GT (or immediately if I don't get approval)

I would do workers as well Sigma. The northern pennisula needs work. I would consider chopping the forest 2S of Mic's Gate. It needs some cottages to really get cranking.

There are warriors that can be disbanded and workers work through the end of the game so are much more valuable. They are the only unit support that keeps giving back return IMO and we need more.
