I will change my order to switch to Courthouse after Aqueduct as that is the next thng to build after GT (or immediately if I don't get approval)

How about neither. It is highly unethical to whip our citizens, and we need to keep our forrests for future generations.I was considering whipping in NPC instead of chopping
Forests are coming down. There won't be any future generations if we don't accelerate some courthouses, forges, markets and national and great wonders.GeorgeOP said:How about neither. It is highly unethical to whip our citizens, and we need to keep our forrests for future generations.

As far as slavery goes...why would we choose a civic that can't be used? Unfortunately, there are many great structures built around the world on the backs of hard labor. Unfortunate but fact.
Ravensfire as past governor of Mic's Gate and now West Licentia I will go on record and say there has never been a citizen sacrificed under my leadership. However, if you feel so strongly about this I would recommend starting a grassroots movement to change our civic to a class system, caste, so it leaves no doubt. We are religious so there is zero anarchy to release the shackles from our people.ravensfire said:And that's a good justification for the wholesale slaughter of our own citizens? "Others have done it!"
Terrible! We're talking about citizens of our nation here! People that have trusted US to protect them, help them prosper and guide them. In the event of an emergency, these citizen would surely lay down their lives to help protect all, but as a normal action?
Never! The use of forced labor to complete projects rapidly should ONLY be used in emergency situations. The lives of our citizens are too important to carelessly toss aside without an overriding concern.
