Hello, and welcome to Boaring Wallow, "An exciting place to live!"

Here at the BW Academy, we have made many exciting discoveries to advance the Licentan way of life. For example, using the pig resource, located just outside of town, we have learned that pigs do not like it when you pull their tails. We had our top two (ok, only two) scientists poruing over information gathered in dozens of pullings. Sadly, we could only gather reports from the observers of the pullings, since the pullers were very quckly trampled by the pulees.

After only 317 attempts, our scientists unlocked the mysteries of this mysterious mystery: pulling the pigs' tails hurts them, making them mad. When pigs get mad they'll trample you.

This thread is dedicated to the memories of those brave men and women who watched as the slaves who pulled the pigs tails were trampled. May their sacrifices, heroism, and scientific knoledge never be forgotten.

Yes, friends, Boaring Wallow is indeed an exciting place to live, especially if you're a slave at the academy!

Instructions for TC 11-Jul-06:

Govenor of Boaring Wallow

* Finish the forge (2 turns)

After the forge is complete, we'll make that mad guy happy again. Put him on science duty.

At this time BW will be maxed out on both health and happiness.

Finish off the settler before decay starts to set in. If he gets done, work on a horse archer.

You're building a settler during wartime?

Fetch..can you find out how many turns on that settler. And how long before it starts decaying. IMO that settler was started before we had approval and way too early. Now we are fighting and trying to build a settler in a city where production is needed on units. I thnk it might be better to at least build a military unit FIRST then go to the settler. Even if we lose 1 few hammers its better than losing a city or losing more cottage-turns due pillaging.

/This is one instance where I am rethinking the call for mobilization.

how do I find out when it starts to decay? I believe he has 6 turns to go.

Updated TC instructions (11-Jul-06)

Govenor of Boaring Wallow

* Finish the forge (2 turns)

After the forge is complete, we'll make that mad guy happy again. Put him on science duty.

At this time BW will be maxed out on both health and happiness.

Work on horse archer(s) the rest of the TC.

Fetch...Did you find out any info on decay or just decided to switch. I am curious for my own games and for the future in this game as well.

If we let it decay, we're wasting the shields invested in it already, if we finish it, we're wasting even more shields as we don't need new cities right now (and if we want cities, we'll just take those german cities).

Governor...The settler is complete do we have s settlement site in mind. I have looked back 2 pages on the citizens forum and the polls and I dont see anything however it could be hidden with in a thread. Please let us know if you have a site before the next TC( tomorrow)

what about 3 east, 4 south of BW (I believe there were dotmaps some time ago.)

problem with that poll is 4 voted NO compared to 3 for any location. Hell I voted no ( and still think its a bad idea right now) so I am going to put the settler to sleep until we have a new poll. That will ensure that the desires of the people are met. Polls are only valid in the term they are polled anyway.

I changed my instructions (see above) to building horse archers instead of finishing the settler.

Fetch...some how the settler finished. :)

Yeah, I saw that. The DP must have not caught the updated instructions. Que sera sera, right?
