The Corporate Collective would wish to understand what is being offered to us, along with the logistics of your transportation. What kind of top-quality weapons? How will you transport these weapons to us? Or are you offering us schematics which can be simply transmitted? What is the price you are thinking of? It might be a good time to mention that we are currently investigating the waters of the Opes which surrounds the Conclave for potential usages. In our hunts we have located Aloe, a marine flora which has medical potentials. We currently preparing operations to conduct the harvesting of this potential medical future. We will plan to farm it so we may use its medical properties to both enhance the personnel of the Conclave and as a potential trading good. While you consider the price we are prepared to deliver some Aloe to you via your airships. This trade transaction would benefit both our corporal entities. As we conduct the industrialization of Mamomas and commence construction of the Delitor airbase we hope to, in time, mass produce Aloe based products for the medical trade.

At first we thought we were the only ones but then a few weeks after planetfall we heard some faint sounds over our long range radios. A few months later we made contact with another group who call themselves The Garden They seemed reasonable and were a lot better established than we were. As our people still lived in tent settlements around the wrecks of our old space stations they were building new cities and gardens. We maintain some regular contact, their traders some times come round the bay and bring us news of the other settlements. We now know there to be several all of which have claimed huge tracts of land to be their territory on Planet.
But rumours have been appearing recently, rumours about conflict between the settlements. How such a thing can be possible is beyond me - we are exiles from a dead planet, bound together by our humanity. Why anyone would be fighting is beyond me. But we don't know the whole picture of course. Our radios don't pick up the signals from the other settlements very well and the traders from The Garden only come occasionally. There might be reason to this madness, even if I can not fathom it.
To this end it was decided that something needed to be done. For the past year we haven't really had a suitable government to deal with such issues. Thus last week the Bishops, the community leaders, the Pope, the old captains and the masters of the space stations met in Upminster to declare the sovereignty of the state of Upminster. With a charter and constitution it has pretty much amounted to the declaration of ourselves as a nation rather than a band of refugees. Also in the Upminster Declaration was the inclusion of a so called Zone of Non-Aggression. Effectively Upminster's response to the nation building we have head about from across the bay. This zone is an area of land where it is legally required that you must obey the laws set down by Upminster and any further nations to spring up in this area. Some are saying it basically amounts to a claim over all this land but I think in principle it is a good idea. It declares our sovereignty and our will to be a part of what may be an emerging international community.
This caused a bit of a stir with the Germans that went off a few months ago to found the settlement at Hamburg am Planet. A few days ago they responded to the Upminster Declaration with their own declaration of Sovereignty as The Free Republic of Hamburg am Planet . They have agreed to abide by the treaty though and will contribute to the management of the Zone of Non-Aggression. Its going to be interesting, a political dynamic is beginning to emerge. I'm sure a lot of people see this as something they'd rather not have had happen. We've landed on this new Eden only to bring back the old ways of war and politics. Its almost as though we cast ourselves out this time.

A grand scavenging campaign had began.
"The goal of the project is to discover why the Rhino Beetles react so negatively to the boletus rhinoceros. More importantly, if it is a biological reaction, is it possible other things to re-create it? Or, at the very least, discover the chemical inducing it,so that we can grow/breed plants or extracts that contain it.

"The only way to do this, is exploration. A team using the Skippovich, as it's called, would be best. We will require several rhino beetles, some of the boletus rhinoceros. Then.. science shall commence."

The "Ogre-15" Schematics: A pre-war harddrive containing the specifics to producing advanced humanoid combat droids. though Harkenthorne lacks the required industrial means to utilize this piece of technology in their current state, it is only a matter of time before the corporation reaches their desired goal.
Military
The most criticial and essential cog in Harkenthorne's machine. Harkenthorne's mercenary armies stands responsible for the protection and continued preservence of the corporation's assets, while selling themselves to the highest bidder to act as anything from a national defense guard to an aggressive invasion force.
They are stubborn, proud and ruthless in their pursuits. as for most of them being former military personnel from the great war, fresh recruits are conscripted from the civilian population at the young age of four. the concept is that when a citizen wishes to withdraw a loan from the corporate banks, he or she must place their son or daughter as collateral. if they are unable to cope, their children will be brought in to Harkenthorne's military and trained mercilessly in every aspect of combat until they reach the age of seventeen, where they must deploy to a live combat zone and personally kill at least one enemy combatant with their close-combat weaponry, and bring back his severed head to the acting drill sergeant.
Harkenthorne's equipment is undeniably superior to most military factions. they all carry advanced equipment from the great war which increases their combat effectiveness to a solid degree. even then, most Harkenthorne mercenaries rely on their wits, iron-will and resolve to win the day. the gear is only an added bonus to them.
