Maybe with galleys, we can ship quite a few units across with galleys, do a couple of loads and hope they arn't spotted?

That's what I suggested many turns ago. See picture below. They would have only 3 turns to prepare defences in Hamburger. If we success to raze/capture Hamburger Piffle's empire is sliced to two parts.

 
Are we sure we can cross it....IF so then LETS GO.

We should have another set of gallies ready to nail the elephant city or where ever we are planning on making our second foothold.

Correct me if I am wrong...we will be razing all the cites correct. Too much on costs for most of them but I would keep those further from Epsilon.
 
Problem is, where are we getting this culture bomb from? we can run caste system and pacifism and i think have one out in about 15 turns in one of our cities- at a stretch.

Also indeed i did see that but i thought i saw you write a post where you tried that and it was not actually able to be done?

The ivory city is really not important at all.

Another option is a city on that one tile if piffles culture hasnt already gone past it- indeed a clear indication of where the attack is coming from but maybe a double bluff?
 
Previous picture was misleading. Here is a better one. As you can see, we need one cultural expansion in Allegra.

 
Are we sure the borders would expand? Usually they stop expanding after the first sea tile
 
Based on your picture we only need 1 border expansion of Allegra to traverse the gap since its costal tiles on the other side, which means only 5 turns after Allwgra is founded which should be right after the iron city.

But i do agree hamburg is the place to hit, i proposed that in the term7 or 8 domestic thread. With only galleys we wont be able to open a second front but i guess we can't have it all our way.

We would still need protection on the West coast from a Epsilon strike if they know Astronomy otherwise there is no point.
 
Indeed, i propose we have Hej as prelim galley builder- said that somewhere earlier(seeing as everyone else is resting on past laurels;)), and aloha on offensive force whilst the rest of the nation concentrates on defensive force, predominantly for allegra/west coast/iron city.

We need to start deciding just how we will attack, one option is a couple of turns beforehand move a caravel in and see what is the state of the cities defence? From there we can decide whether we will reasonably be able to land and attack or just straight off attack.

We could also build a couple of galleys with cossaks in and send them off after where we assume piffle will be putting an iron city.

The attack force for the hamburg strike i think should be cannons/cats a few grens but predominatly cossaks.
 
Isn't our galley coming back from Epsilon, it could do a pass near Hamburger

i don't understand, that in 2 cities normal specialists work.
2.
Where can i see what kind of relation we 've with the other teams?

Perhaps there is a fred with plans against them.
 
1. because they dont have anything else to do?
2. we have seperate threads for each team, loco/piffle/innovia/epsilon
3. perhaps the prez thread or similar- we dont have many plans right now except for survival

Ah yes i saw them and corrected them this turn, im not sure why they were there tbh, i set every citizen to work, it may be the merch civic messing about.
