Terrain Black and faces on diplomacy not showing

i got the demo for civ 4 and the terrain is black and the faces for the diplomacy is not showing. please help

please post your Dxdiag sowe can check your whole system

Start Button - click - select run - press enter - wait amin - select "save all information" - remember where you saved it - post the file as an attachment using the 'go advanced' button below

Try seeing this : Black map fix !! or this : Possible black terrain fix
