Terrorists Kill Two Iranian University Professors

Welcome aboard. Your ACLU card is on the way.

I am simply more than happy to point it out how certain people wont even consider Iran doing such a thing while constatly griping about what the US does.

But you did confess that it is torture and I didn't even dash a drop of water on you.

While Israel is likely to be related to this, the victims caught by the regime are most likely not. More likely they are regime opposition figures who were tortured and forced to admit.

Maybe the US should give Iran and Israel a time-out.

Or maybe we should try to prevent further conflict between them ala a Palestinian state. Another war in the Middle East is not something we need.

Israel should never had existed anyway, however, Iran hates the US, but, Iran should not get Nuclear weapons.

Is it just a coincidence that prominent Iranian scientists continue to get killed by terrorist acts?
That's a loaded question; the question assumes they were killed by terrorists. We don't know who killed them--and we don't know why.

Or do you just want it to be terrorism.....? I've seen a whole lot of threads like this in CFC lately, where people are trying really hard to find acts of terrorism committed by "the West". So, why such a hasty rush to using the T-word?

In case you haven't been reading WikiLeaks--a number of ARAB nations do want war against Iran, rather than letting Iran have nuclear weapons. As several of the leaks revealed, these ARAB nations were hoping the United States would do the dirty work so that ARAB nations could avoid openly initiating hostilities against another ARAB nation. So, you no longer have a choice--another Middle East war is very likely right now, and the only control you have over the matter is who starts it and who finishes it.

The US better not start it, the blood should be on their hands. Of course, a war will probably involve the US in some way.

I also think the allegation that the IAEA inspectors are somehow 'spies' is just simply ridiculous.

Ridiculous? :crazyeye: It's the whole point of the organization...

No need to try hard. Terrorism is just a limited form of warfare, that it is used is not in doubt.

What, those arab DICTATORIAL RULERS, kings, whatever, were hoping that the United States would do the dirty work so that arab RULERS could stop trembling in fear, within their palaces, from the prospect of getting overthrown by some revolution? Especially the one in Qatar, who rules mostly over dissatisfied shiites?

The poor of the Arab Gulf States and the eastern province (major oil region) of Saudi are Shiite as are the Iranians. Iraq is now controlled by Shiites. The rulers of the Arab Gulf States and Saudi are Sunni and fear Iranian influence of their subjects. So they ask the US to attack Iran for them.

Wow, Iran is ARAB?...

Not surprising that SUNNI semi-dictatorial arab states want their centuries long greatest SHIA NON-ARAB rivals prevented from aquiring greater power in the region.

I fully hope that if people believe that foreign powers were responsible for this, without any proof, that they still hold out hope for WMDs to be found in Iraq.

The US military had a very good look for the WMD and I do believe that if they had found them they would have said so.

Do you think that an international commission should be formed to find out who is bombing the Iranian civilians.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that Iranian scientists, engineers, and college professors who have been ostensibly linked to their various nuclear programs end up being assassinated by various terrorist acts.

I'm sure it also a coincidence that the Mossad has been credibted with assassinating numerous people around the world.

Know any such coincidences regarding the lack of WMDs in Iraq?

Why do you continue to believe the lies of the various US administrations when they keep getting caught over and over again? Granted Iran's credibility isn't exactly sterling either, but this one seems rather obvious.

The government of Iran for whom the Professors work.

No, it doesn't work that way. Your local postman is a civilian, as am I, as are these professors. You don't get to redefine the word 'civilian' to suit your agenda.

Come on man, use your logic. Who else would it be?

The U.S. military can be treated as civilians for victim-of-terrorist purposes, so this shady reclassification is nothing new - just ask about the act that got Reagan to cut and run from Beirut.
