TETurkhans mod SG

Aggie, I have not got it installed to default location, and I did the following (after having similar problems):

- Download the zip program that TETurkhan used. There is a link to it in the first post of the thread I linked earler.
- Use that program to unzip the file to the correct installation.
- Update the BIX files

I know it shouldn't matter using winzip (or anything else), but winzip didn't do it properly, and neither did copying the file from where the download put them.

It's worth one last go I reckon...

@Anarres: Thanks for your tips.

I think I followed them already, but I'll give it another go. The reason why I threw the towel in the ring was that I was afraid to mess things up in the SG when the mod isn't installed properly on my PC.

But I'm last one on the player order, therefore I think that I've got the time to fix it.

Anyway, my pick for the mod would be:

- Regent level
- We pick our civilization
- Not a civ in crowded europe
- A challenging civ, no real further preference there.

Finaly!!! I got it to work!!!

I had to perform some horrible tricks though, including un-installing CIV3 from my computer
I'm still not happy with the solution, but at least I can play.

I will give it 2 more days (first workday in the new year) in case Ray doesn't check his mial from home. If he then doesn't answer 8or tells me version 2.0 is more than a few days away) I'll start the game.

reason: I have encountered a crash (fatal) with diplo replies - and that was one of the things he promised to fix in 2.0.

I'm still here/interested, just haven't had comp access over the last few days. Prefer Israel or Cambodia

Edit: Somewhere near the end of the rotation would be prefered if it's ok.

OUCH!

I agree - let's wait a few more days.
This is the same reason I am doing massive testing of the LK map before starting. I don't want to waste hours on a game to have it crash.
