I just wanted to thank everyone who gave me advice in the Julius Caesar w/ GW and 'mids thread. It appeared that I didn't listen, but I actually was moreso "drinking from a firehose", and incorporating the advice into my game. I've now won 3 or 4 times on Emperor (having never won on that level before), as a Conquest, Cultural, and Diplomatic victory (which would have been a conquest in like 3 or 4 turns anyway).
