It's ironic that he succeeded in embarrassing Apolyton's MP'ers, at least in my eyes. Way too many people were betraying their lack of knowledge of what can be done with the game. To be fair, you wouldn't necessarily need to know these things for MP, but I'm starting to wonder what's going to happen to a lot of these MP 'champs' once those of us that understand the game more deeply start becoming experienced in MP...

Now I don't consider myself to be an MP "champ".. but I can answer this. They will continue to win some & lose some.. just like always. Technique, while important, is not the end all & be-all in MP. In some ways patience, flexibility, & an ability to deal with your "neighbors".. irregardless of what flavor they come in, are just as important.

In MP you are dealing with real people, not just a piece of software. If you forget that..at the extremes.. you will be in the same position as Eyes' finds himself.

By all means..come on over when you are "ready" .

Thanks for putting me on your list! I've actaully learned a lot myself from many others on your list, who were here when I first came on.... And Starlifter in particular helped me get comfortable with democracy with his tips--before I tried those I avoided democracy like the plague, now I wouldn't play any other way!
