The Cordovans saw fit to invade our lands with a force of settlers protected by spears and swords. An aggressive settlement policy as we suspected. When we sent an envoy demanding that they leave they declared war

Our Knight Chevalier destroyed the spears while a cadre of swords destroyed the Cordovan swords. The settlers were split into four groups and will work for the greater glory of God on building French roads. In order for our troops to more quickly subdue their homeland.

Charles the Bald has declared a Golden Age in honour of this great victory and our population work twice as hard to bring Christianity to the heathens.
