The 4th Scenario: speculate!

They have essentially revealed all of the major information about the game already.

There's so much we don't know.

A lot of it is tech tree related, but there's still units (tech tree I guess), Social Policies, how things really work (I don't "buy" any of the reviews or press release stuff from 2K being the 'real' stuff yet), let alone what these 3 (well, ok the Steam Punk scenario seems to be fleshed out by now) scenarios entail.

People aren't going to decide whether or not to buy the game on how the social policies are adjusted or changes to the tech tree. Its the major things like civilizations, game concepts like espionage and religion, and scenarios (even though I rarely play them, they appeal to a lot of fans still) that Firaxis promotes heavily to try to build interest in the game. So I doubt they're sitting back on something like an unannounced scenario without promoting it yet.

Look out for a later DLC. They'll be adding a few more civs and scenarios. It is too lucrative for business, for them not to do so.

Ever heard of a typo? Sure they said typed in four instead of three.. but unless you stick to low key info, you'd know there is no source of a "fourth" DLC. Let's see the facts

1. There is no bonus for pre-ordering, otherwise we'd be speculcating
2. There's no achievements for the "4th" achievement
3. For all we know, they could've mistook the Mongolian Scenario (as many people seem to consider Genghis Khan as part of God and Kings which I think is bit stupid. but meh)

Rhye's and Fall of Civ is not a scenario that was ever made by Firxais, it's a fan made mod/scenario.

If you think this was anything more than a mistake, you're just believing what you want to believe. Even the original explanation that said four also said three in the same description. Then they changed the four to a three. That shows it was an error or a typo. There's absolutely no reason to believe it was anything else.

Rhye's and Fall of Civ is not a scenario that was ever made by Firxais, it's a fan made mod/scenario.

It was released in the BTS expansion in civ4, it's not so impossible to appear in civ5 as a scenario released by firaxis. Oh well, you have a good point.

I'm pretty sure RFC was available before it was released in BTS. RFC is not availalbe for Civ 5 yet.

I would love either a Rise of Rome scenario or a WWI scenario, it would be fun to successfully complete the Schleiffen Plan and win in a few turns
